Islamabad 13 August, Islamabad : Two civilians were injured in an explosion in the western region of Kabul the police reported on Saturday.Home-made devices were set up near the office of the distribution center in Police District 13 in Kabul’s Dasht-e-Barchi area Police spokesperson Khalid Zadran said.
Zadran said security forces in the area are looking into the incident, the dpa news agency reported.
An official from the security sector in the area has informed local media TOLOnews that four individuals which includes two Taliban security force members were injured in the explosion caused by a motorcycle explosion.
The police have not yet made any claim of any responsibility for the incident.
In the first few minutes of the explosion the images on social media captured the smoke cloud of smoke rising in the sky over the area.
The western part of Kabul located in Kabul, which is a Shia Hazara-inhabited area is the site of the most fatal attacks that were claimed by the Islamic State terrorist group during the last few years.
The UN announced this weekend that over 120 people had been killed in Kabul after three days of simultaneous bombings that targeted the western part of Kabul.
