In a statement the director writes “After the awe I felt from the audiences on the first film I made, I realized I needed to create something completely different.I wanted to place my next film in an environment of middle-class and examine what it means for a young person to be a part of the middle class of society, and to strive to break free of it.”

“College life” is also a time of self-discovery.It’s about making mistakes and apologising for them, and understanding the value of your family’s love and support.I wanted to offer my audience a calming film that they can connect with.We also swung against the grain to cast three actors who were not familiar with the film and I’m hoping that the audience is pleased with their debut film.”

Director and producer Anubhav Sinha also explains the concept of the film, and says: “I am proud of the way this film has grown into. It’s a simple tale that’s told with elegance.” “I am a firm believer in telling stories that are grounded in real life and the thing that sets this film apart is that, along with its rawness and real, it also tells an adorable and young love story.I am very looking forward to the audience’s chance to see this film.”

“Middle-Class Love” is produced jointly by Sinha’s Benaras Media Works and Zee Studios. The film is set to release on the 16th of September.
