Mumbai 8th August : Following Aamir Khan, Mitali Madhumita and Major D.P.Singh kept the audience glued to their stories Six-time World Champion, Olympic Games medallist and Rajya Sabha MP M.C.Mary Kom and international footballer Sunil Chhetri took the hotseat on “KBC 14 to answer questions of host and megastar Amitabh Bachchan. In a conversation that was laced with laughter, Chhetri quoted a line from one of the songs from Big B’s smash film ‘Mr.Natwarlal’ “Mar gaya? Lekin aap to zinda ho?” Then Bachchan answered with: “Yeh jeena bhi koi jeena hai lallu?” Chhetri also demonstrated a few of his football skills.
The two celebrity guests were required to answer an impromptu query, which they answered and were awarded the prize of Rs 12.5 lakh.The topic was “People who work in and reside near a forest worship Bonbibi the goddess that believes is a protector of them against tigers?”
They had to choose between: Bandipur, Ranthambore, Sunderbans and Kanha.The winner was Sunderbans.The funds will be shared with the Mary Kom Regional Boxing Foundation and The Voice of Stray Dogs.
The game was required to conclude as the time had come to an end and the host was unable to ask the question of 25 lakh rupees.
