Dick Cheney, known as a Vice President who surrendered huge powers under George W.Bush’s presidency as a Republican Cheney has been branded by Trump as the biggest “threat to our Republic” in a new advertisement for his daughter Liz Cheney, who is running for an election for re-election in Wyoming.

Many polls rate her chances of winning re-election as low with Republicans running for her opponent GOP candidate Hariet Hageman, who has confirmed Trump’s assertions of an election stolen in 2020.

“In the 236 years of our nation’s history there’s never been a person who is more dangerous to our Republic than Donald Trump,” said Dick Cheney, who served as Vice President for two terms under George W.Bush.

“He (Trump) was trying to take advantage of the last election with violence and lies to stay in control after voters had rejected Trump. He is a coward.

A true man would not tell his fans what he is thinking. He was defeated in his race and he lost massively.I am aware of it, he knows it, and I’m convinced that the majority of Republicans are aware of it.” Dick Cheney was quoted by The Guardian in the campaign advertisement for his daughter Liz Cheney seeking re-election from Wyoming in the midterm elections in the House of Representatives.

Dick Cheney also said how happy he was of his daughter “for being adamant about the truth, standing up for what’s right, and honoring her oath to the Constitution even though many in our party are too afraid to take a stand”.

The ad ran for just one minute and included Cheney’s elder brother’s most brutal public attacks on Trump until now. Most renowned as the most powerful Vice-President in American history and a key player in taking the US to war in Iraq, he has committed to defend his daughter in her struggle against Trump.

“There’s no more crucial thing she could ever accomplish than to take the initiative to ensure Donald Trump is never near the Oval Office.

and she can be successful,” he said in the advertisement.

The younger Cheney has been extensively praised by liberals in her position as vice-chairwoman of the House select committee that is investigating the attack on Capitol Hill.

Liz Cheney has been one of the most vocal critics of Trump and has accused him of breaking the Constitution for his involvement in the revolt. In exchange, she has been largely exiled from her party.

Cheney faces a tough race for re-election, battling Trump-friendly candidate Harriet Hageman, who maintains that the 2020 election was rigged.

“Liz Cheney is long since forgotten she is a member of Wyoming (or maybe she didn’t know) and not Radical Democrats.Wyoming deserves an Congresswoman who represents the state and our values of conservatism. It’s time for us to rid ourselves of the elite Liz Cheney,” Hageman tweeted on Thursday.

Although Liz Cheney has at least one million dollars more in contributions for her campaign to defeat Hageman, she was 22 points ahead of Hageman in a poll in July that was conducted by the Casper Star-Tribune.

In an interview with CNN on Thursday, Liz Cheney said she does not anticipate losing her seat on the 16th of August.

“I am convinced that the citizens of Wyoming are aware of how crucial adherence to the Constitution is and recognize the importance to fight for those fundamental values that are the foundation on the which all other things are built,” she said.
