Bhopal 6 August : A large number of Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) hopefuls protested on the streets in the morning to protest against the denial of exam results of 2019 and 2020.The aspirants marched along the roads of Madhya Pradesh’s capital city of finance Indore.
They protested peacefully while holding Tricolours and chanting slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’and “We Want Justice’ among others.
The aspirants gathered in Bholaram Ustad Marg (in Indore city) and marched to the MPPSC office.
When they reached the office they demanded that the their results of 2019 and 2020 be announced as soon as possible because many of them are already overage.
The coaching centres were also shut, and students who were preparing for MPPSC and other exams administered by the government were also part of the protest.
They claimed that the elections will be scheduled to be held in 15 days and the results will be announced within five days, however MPPSC exams are held after an absence of four years, and the matter is referred to the court.
The question of MPPSC’s results from the examinations that were conducted in 2019 and 2020 is in the hands of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
People aware with the matter said that results are pending for the last three-and-a-half-year due to the OBC reservation issue.
