Bhopal on Aug.6 : In the midst of the controversy over the National Herald case, Madhya Pradesh Congress MLA Jitu Patwari said that the party is currently preparing an inventory of corrupt officials who will be punished if the Congress becomes the ruling party in the state.Patwari claimed that a number of high-ranking state officials in the state are acting as agents of the ruling BJP.
In a press conference held here, Patwari said the Congress will soon reveal the names of the corrupt officials in the public domain.
“MP Congress is preparing a list of corrupt officials who are acting as BJP’s agents and earning money out of it.The party plans to release the list soon.The officials will be subject to harsh punishment once the Congress becomes the ruling party in Madhya Pradesh,” Patwari said.
It is possible to recall that in the last urban local body and panchayat elections Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath and the party’s Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh had claimed that top officials of “working as agents of the political wing of BJP”.
