Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today launched a series of protests in Delhi in protest of rising fuel prices for the past ten days.
Rahul Gandhi, who held a dharna with Congress leaders at Vijay Chowk in Delhi, set fire to the policies of the central government.He said that petrol and diesel prices have gone up nine times in the last 10 days and demanded that the rising prices be brought under control and that Congress was staging protests across the country today.
Meanwhile, Congress leaders staged protests in the states as well.They were outraged that the Center was reckless as petrol prices were rising uncontrollably.Congress leaders are protesting in innovative ways.Leaders in several states, including Telangana, have taken to the roads to protest.
The Center warns that their concerns will not stop until petrol prices are reduced.It is said that they are already importing oil from Russia at a discount.
However, their benefit is not pleasing to consumers.
