Meerut is a city located in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh.That is to say, it is part of the National Capital Region (NCR).

Some places like this are known as Haunted Places.There are ghost stories out there.Many people say different things about them.Especially the GP Block in Meerut.There are three buildings in this block.None of them lived for a few decades.As a result the walls of the buildings turned black.Moss and fungus are growing on them.
Automatically those buildings became known as Bhoot Bangla.They are bringing a negative dimension to Meerut.
People are afraid to go towards the GP block even during the day.The reason for that is some horrible events that are said to have happened in the past.In 1950, a woman was seen sitting in a building in the GP block.She is said to be wearing a full-length red dress.
Locals say she is shaped like a ghost.Some say that she appeared not once … but many times, and looked angrily at themselves.
No one was able to show any evidence for that.But the locals still have a tremendous fear of the woman.
Due to such Stories, the GP block is known as the ‘demon block’.The GP block is not private.It belongs to the Indian Defense Forces.These buildings were initially used by Army officers as a sub area office.So, these buildings were vacated in 1950.A junior officer then entered the building.
He considered it as his homes.He also vacated after that.
No one officially landed in those houses when he left.The Army then hired some caretakers.
Kept them on the ground floors in three houses.
