Lucknow : , Dec 27, 2017 : .President of Samajwadi Party, Akhilesh Yadav stated that top BJP leaders are prone to personal attacks because they “have a narrow mind and feel frustrated”.
This was in response to Union Home Minister Amit Sharma’s statements that “no one” (read SP), would stop Ram temple construction.Chief Minister Yogi Amityanath had made the comment: “Babua was using his phone during the pandemic rather than helping people.”

Akhilesh stated that the BJP had nothing to show for their achievements and has therefore resorted at all costs to mudslinging, and making baseless attacks on individuals.

He said, “BJP ke bade Netaon ne apna statementyam kho diya Hai aur woh chichchle Bayano se apni sankeern mensikta rahe Hain” (Senior leaders in the BJP are losing control and making shallow remarks that reflect their narrow mindedness)

According to the SP chief, the resentment against the BJP is growing quickly and even the ruling party is fully aware.

Therefore, no leader goes out without government paraphernalia.

The BJP leaders fear that farmers might question their promises of doubling their income.

However, it is actually reduced by half due to the increase in diesel prices and costly fertilizers.Youth will ask them questions about their jobs, they fear.

He said that people will question them about the rise in prices.

The SP president accused the BJP government having decimated the state’s economic system.

He said that the saffron party must explain what steps were taken by the Centre government to transform the Indian economy into a $5 trillion one.

He said, “All the BJP did till now was to make hollow statements and promises and not do anything to fulfill these promises.”
