Seoul, 26 December : .BTS singer Jin and rapper RM tested positive for coronavirus according to their management agency.
Yonhap reported that the announcement came one day after Big Hit Music confirmed that Suga (another member of K-pop’s supergroupand) had been infected.The agency stated that Jin and RM were both virus-positive.Jin, however, has a mild fever.According to the agency, they are receiving treatment at home as per instructions from medical authorities.
After visiting Los Angeles from November 27-28, the members were back in their home countries on Friday.They also visited earlier this month as part of a concert schedule.
The agency said that Jin and RM had both failed earlier diagnostic tests.
Big Hit Music reported that the members had completed their second round of Covid vaccines in August.
They also said they never saw each other.According to ‘Variety, their symptoms range from mild to non-existent.
BTS’s seven members were granted an official holiday to allow them time for rest and recharge after their hectic schedules which included the ‘Permission To Dance On Stage’ concert in Los Angeles, and the iHeartRadio Jingle Bell Tour in December.
After their solo travels, the singers returned home to South Korea and were left alone.
