Srinagar 26 December : .A terrorist who killed during an encounter in South Kashmir’s Anantnag District has been identified by Faheem Bhat, who is believed to have participated in the killing of a policeman.
Officials said this on Sunday.Faheem Behat, a neutralized terrorist from Kadipora Anantnag was identified.According to police, he had joined ISJK’s terror group and participated in the killing of ASI Mohd Ashraf who was stationed at PS Bijbehara.”
After a joint police-security force team had cordoned off Srigufwara and started a search operation based on specific information regarding terrorists, the firefight occurred on Saturday.
The encounter began as security forces converged on the location where terrorists are hiding.
On Saturday, also four terrorists died in separate security operations in Tral Area of Awantipora & Shopian.
