NFT Auction: A bat signed by the 2011 World Cup winner team sells for USD 25,000

New Delhi, December 25, 2012 : .A bat signed to the winning Indian team in the 2011 World Cup was purchased for USD25,000 (Rs 18,76,000).

Australias signed SunRisers Hyderabad jersey, which won the 2016 IPL, sold at a high bid of USD30,000 (Rs 22,51,000.00) at a Dubai auctionAmal Khan, a Mumbai-based fan and avid cricket enthusiast, purchased the digital rights to Sachin Tendulkar’s retired match collection for USD 40,000.This collection contained a signed match jersey and special commemorative covers.

It was also included an autographed match ticket.CricFlix, in partnership with RevSportz, Fanatic Sports and Fanatic Sports conducted the NFT auction on Friday.It raised USD 335,000.

An exclusive collection of 23 artifacts representing world cricket were purchased by the auction roaster.These included autographs and official souvenirs from Indias first tour to England 1932.They sold for USD14.500 (INR 10.88.080), and USD14,000 respectively.Don Brandmans signed NFT stamp was also sold by the auctioneer for USD 26,600 (INR19.96,064).Lata Mangeshkar’s 1983 World Cup winning team concert recording was purchased for USD 21,000 (Rs 15.75,740).Balasaheb Thackerays cartoons and autographs, from Indias 1952 first visit to Pakistan, were sold for USD 15,000, (Rs 11.25,528).The digital rights to Indias first ever Test skipper CK NAILUs collection (including his bank account book, passport and original bank account) were also sold at USD 7500, USD 9800, respectively.

Veteran India pacer Jhulan Goswamis 2017 World Cup semi-final jersey fetched USD 10,000.This was the first ever NFT by the womens cricketing community.
