Cds Helicopter Crash: The Mortal Remains Of Jitender K Kumar Reach Bhopal

Bhopal (12/12/2012) The remains of Naik Jitender Kumar who died in the CDS helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu were received by Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal at 11.30 am on Sunday.Kumar, CDS General Bipin Rawat’s wife, and eleven others were among the victims of the crash near Coonoor in December 8.
Kumar was wrapped in tri-colour and his mortal remains were taken to Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal, with full military honors.He was also given a guard of honour.

After the body had been removed from its grave, it was transported in an ambulance to Sehore District (60 km) On Sunday evening, the funeral will be held.

Kumar will be visited by Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of India and other top ministers to pay respects to his soul.

Naik Kumar’s family and Dhamanda village residents have waited for five days to be able to accept the remains of their loved ones.

This was 5 days since the Mi-17 V5 crash that resulted in the death of India’s first CDS, Gen Bipin Rawat.His wife Madhulika Rawat and Brig L.S.Lidder, others and other victims of the Mi-17 V5 crash in Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor region on December 8.
