The AP government stands by the family of Lance Naik Saiteja who died in a helicopter crash.AP Panchayati Raj, Rural Development Minister Peddireddy Ramachandrareddy visited Saiteja Family members on Saturday.
Later, a check of Rs 50 lakh was handed over to Sai Teja’s family members on behalf of the state government.
Sai Teja was among those killed along with the Bipin Rawat couple in a helicopter crash on December 8 in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu.
Authorities located Sai Teja’s body on Saturday morning based on DNA tests.Afterwards, a wreath was laid at Saiteja Hospital and a tribute was paid.
The body was shifted to Saiteja’s hometown with military paraphernalia.
