The Congress stepped up its attack and asked why panchayat elections were being held in 2021-22 on reservation of 2014.

The Congress expressed concern about this issue and accused the BJP not to comply with a set rules that suppress the democratic rights of citizens.

“We have been demanding that Panchayat election in the state be held as soon possible, but it seems that the government is scared and doesn’t want to conduct these elections,” Kamal Nath, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and chief of the state Congress, said.

The Congress insists that fresh elections should be held in accordance with the new rotation and reservation policy of seats.

It is ready to knock on the Madhya Pradesh High Court’s door Monday.

Vivek Tankha, a senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MEP, said to IANS: “Many people have already opposed the state government’s move. The Constitutional rights of individuals are completely violated by conducting elections without a rotation in reservation. Many petitions have been filed at the High Court benches.
