New Delhi : , Microsoft fixed an issue in Windows 11 which affected Kaspersky’s antivirus platform.This vulnerability has been fixed by Windows 11’s latest version, ‘22000.348’.
Microsoft released an update stating that they had fixed a problem that could prevent certain apps (such as Kaspersky Apps) from opening when you try to fix or update them using Microsoft Installer (MSI).
Kaspersky advised its customers not to install Microsoft Windows Updates.They claimed that the updates could affect their antivirus software after they had installed updates for Windows 7 and Windows 11.
After installing a Windows Update, Kaspersky Endpoint Security is still in operation and security remains unaffected.It said that errors could occur when trying to update the program, patch the private network or modify the app’s scope.
The Kaspersky update stated that “We recommend temporarily refraining from installing the Windows Updates listed.”
Microsoft advised that you should uninstall any affected apps and then download the most recent version.
Kaspersky identified KB5007215 as the issue update for Windows 11 users of its antivirus software.
