Ghanawat had previously criticized the move as “unfortunate”.Gulati was more reserved and wanted to be consulted further by waiting for the announcement of the Prime Minister.
Arora was speaking about Modi’s decision to create a committee that includes representatives from the Centre, states governments, farmers and agricultural scientists. The purpose of this group is to examine how to make Minimum Support Price (MSP), how to promote zero-budget farming, and how to change crop patterns in a scientific way.
