Panaji : , Nov 20, : Mathura MP Hema Mallini, Actress was presented with the Indian Film Personality of the Year Award during the 52nd International Film Festival of India.This award was given to Malini by Mathura MP Hema.This award is given to an exceptional Indian movie personality in recognition of their extraordinary contributions to cinema.It was jointly presented by Pramod Sawant, the Chief Minister of Goa, and Anurag Thakur (Minister for Information and Broadcasting).
Hema Malini made her acting debut with the Tamil movie ‘Idhu Sathiyam.She later entered Hindi cinema in 1968 as the lead actress in the film ‘Sapno Ka Saudagar.
Manish Paul (comedian and TV host) asked Hema Malini which of her many roles she liked best.She replied that all.Everybody plays a part hoping that it will be the best.
Paul insisted and she said first ‘Lal Pathar’.
Then, she reeled off a number of names.Hema Malini was a jealous mistress to a zamindar in ‘Lal Pathar’.
