Srinagar : , Saturday, November 20th, 2018: More cases were reported in Jammu & Kashmir, as Covid’s spread in particular in the Kashmir Valley continued.On Saturday, officials reported that 187 cases were positive.24 of them came from Jammu and 163 from Kashmir.
On Saturday, two Covid-related deaths were reported as the number of coronavirus-infected people in Jammu & Kashmir reached 4,461.
There have been 3,35,203 coronavirus cases so far.Of those, 3,29,046 people have recovered.
There are currently 1,696 active cases, of which 252 belong to Jammu and 1,444 belong to Kashmir.
Jammu and Kashmir has also reported 49 black fungus cases.
Officials claimed that 48,875 people had been vaccinated in the past 24 hours.
Alarmed by recent surge in infections, Dr.Naveed Nazar Shah, Superintendent of Srinagar Chest Diseases Hospital, stated that the hospital has seen an increase in the number of patients admitted with severe and mild infection in the past week.
