The Sabarimala temple, a famous shrine in Kerala, is reopening after a long hiatus.The temple will be reopened on Monday evening under the patronage of the chief priests of the temple.
Devotees will be allowed to visit the temple from November 16, 2021.30,000 devotees can visit the temple in a day.Strict sanctions were imposed in the temple in the wake of the corona.
The devotees who had RTPCR negative test reports 72 hours before darshan would be allowed into the temple.
Also, the devotees should be taken two doses of the corona vaccine.The Travancore Devaswom community has made it clear that visitors are required to bring their Aadhaar card (original) with them to the temple.
Permission was granted to bathe in the Pampa river.However, devotees should leave the temple premises as soon as the darshan is over.
Accommodation arrangements are not permitted in temple premises amid covid protocols.Mandala Puja ends on December 26 in Sabarimala.
The temple will reopen on December 30 for the Makara Jyothi Darshanam.Makara Jyothi Darshan will be held on January 14 next year.
The temple will be closed on January 20.
