The Telangana State Activists’ Rights Practice Group has demanded that the government support the movement cars that are fighting for the formation of Telangana state and facing miserable conditions.The committee president Lakshmareddy spoke at a press conference organized at Somajiguda Press Club on Monday.
After selling assets for Telangana and being beaten by the police, the activists are now in a state of starvation.
He lamented that despite all these years since the formation of the state, the Telangana government has ignored the activists.
They demanded that those who are still fighting for the formation of Telangana state be recognized as freedom fighters and given pensions and health cards.They demanded that activists are homeless so build houses within 200 yards, be given a chance in government-nominated positions, and be given contracts in government works.
They demanded that government jobs to be provided to eligible activists.
