The election officials officially announced that BJP won the Huzurabad by-poll.BJP candidate Etela Rajender won as MLA for the seventh time in the Huzurabad constituency.
In the 20th round in the Huzurabad by-poll, BJP candidate Etela Rajender leads by 1474 votes over TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav.In Himmatpur, however, Etela Rajender got 191 more votes than Gellu Srinivas Yadav.
Huzurabad by-election polling ended peacefully on October 30.
Polling started at 7 am and continued till 7 pm.306 polling stations have been set up in the Huzurabad constituency for polling.There are 2,37,036 voters in the Huzurabad constituency.
Out of which 1,17,933 are males, 1,19,102 are females and 22 transgenders.
Karimnagar district collector has already said that 421 control units, 891 ballot units and 515 VVIP units have been utilized for the by-elections.A total of 1715 personnel were deployed.Live webcasting has been conducted in 306 polling stations.
Health workers at each polling station check the temperature with a thermometer and send them inside.Special PPE kits and gloves are provided to Covid patients who came to exercise their right to vote.
Despite the launch of the Dalit Bandhu scheme, the TRS party witnessed a drastic defeat in the Huzurabad constituency.
