It plans to attract tourists from all over the world.

The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting chaired by Chief Minister YS Jagan recently approved the setting up of several major tourism projects in the state with an investment of Rs 2,868.60 crore.However, this will create jobs for about 48,000 people.

Each project will be set up with an investment of at least Rs 250 crore.

The hotels coming through these projects will have 1,564 new rooms available.

However, the companies said they would complete the projects in five years.On this occasion, Chief Minister YS Jagan issued several directives to the officials on the steps to be taken for the development of the tourism sector in the state.

CM Jagan said the availability of modern facilities would attract more tourism from every corner of the world.Thereby job creation and employment opportunities will increase in Andhra Pradesh.

Authorities have been directed to focus on bringing a London Eye type project to Visakhapatnam.
