In the wake of this, Priyanka Gandhi left her residence in Lucknow for Lakhimpur Kheri, where the incident took place to visit the families of the deceased.Against this backdrop, Priyanka Gandhi’s was stopped by the UP police.Police told Priyanka that there was a tense situation at present, and therefore, they cannot allow Priyanka Gandhi to go to the spot.
Priyanka Gandhi was incensed over the police behaviour.She said it was not a crime to leave the house and visit the families of the deceased.
Also, Priyanka Gandhi said that she was going for visiting the families of the deceased.She asked the police to show the warrant and then stop my car.
Priyanka Gandhi said that this country is not BJP’s country, and this is a country of farmers.Priyanka Gandhi warned that she would file a kidnapping case against the police if the police force her to get into a police car.In this context, she was arrested by UP police.
