Indian Army gunned down 3 terrorists in Uri along LoC; huge cache of arms recovered

Indian security forces neutralized a major terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir.A search operation has been going on for the past few days in the Rampur sector near Uri on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

However, today, the Indian security forces killed three terrorists.

According to reports, the operation was carried out this morning after the Indian security forces received information on the movements of terrorists in the Hatlanga forest area in the Rampur sector.

The Army conducted an operation after receiving information from the sources that a total of six terrorists had entered Indian territory.

The Indian Army seized 5 AK-47s, 8 pistols and 70 hand grenades from the terrorists, who were killed in the operation.

A total of 97 guns have been seized so far in Kashmir this year.

Lieutenant General DP Pandey, commander of the Chinar Corps, told media that a similar attempt was made on September 18 into India with a massive insurgency from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), and even then it was successfully neutralized.

It is learned that terrorists have recently entered Indian territory from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).One of the dead terrorists was a Pakistani.

The details of the other terrorists are yet to be known.The other three escaped, and a search operation is currently underway for them.
