All the government and private schools in Andhra Pradesh reopens from today.The Department of Education has issued necessary guidelines to schools to ensure that students and staff do not get infected with the coronavirus.
Also, it has issued guidelines for the implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in every school.Not more than 20 children are allowed in each classroom.
Also, the Department of Edi=ucation made it clear that the students must attend classes with the written consent from their parents.Students and staff must wear masks and maintain social distancing.
The schools are required to be completely sanitized including the premises.Schools are reopening abiding by the utmost precautions issued by the state Department of Education.
The Department of Education has directed teachers and staff to attend schools every day.Most of the teachers are vaccinated, says the government reports.
If any of the students have Covid symptoms, then the student should be sent back home for medical tests.The state government ordered that there should be an isolation room in the school exclusively for those with Covid symptoms.
The Department of Education has directed all schools to conduct tests for all students in the class if any of them tests Covid positive.
