Weeks after an eight-year-old dog named ‘Noorie’ was sexually assaulted inside a shopping complex in Mumbai’s Powai area, a similar incident has come to light from the city’s Mulund (West) neighbourhood, where a 30-year-old labourer allegedly raped a female dog in a society’s car parking bay on Thursday.
The accused, Shobhnath Saroj, took the speechless canine to a small room at the parking bay, where he sexually assaulted her after tying up her mouth with a rope.
Locals and some security guards, on hearing muffled cries of the dog, rushed to the room and found her bleeding from the vagina.They also noticed stains of blood on the floor.Consequently, they realized what had happened there.
Speaking to The Times of India, Brij Bhanishali, a member of an NGO named Om Foundation, said, “On Thursday afternoon, I received a call from a Mulund-based contact informing that a white coloured female dog had been raped by a worker in the car parking bay f a society close to Mulund (West).
I told them to call the police by dialling 100 emergency number till the time I reach the spot.”.
