According to information from sources, its heard that Prime Minister of India Shri.Narendra Modi has made up his mind to put an end Andhra Pradesh Special Status Category issue.
Narendra Modi has given appointment to Telugu Desam Party MP’s for a meeting on Friday afternoon.Shri.Y.S.Chowdhary will be leading the team of TDP MP’s to discuss about special status with Modi.It is also likely that MP’s will discuss about other promises made by Modi prior to formation of Andhra Pradesh.
Also there is a prediction that Modi might say, not to insist for special category status again in turn he will announce a special package which will be more than what special status would get to the state.Package comprises of funds for state capital, Polavaram project, roads, ports and remote areas development funds which would be released at equal intervals.
As per the demands of opposition and BJP that Chandrababu Naidu must be transparent in spending special package funds.Modi might also depute some senior party leaders to monitor funds.
