Sangareddy: People who’s lands were taken over with the proposal of Mallanna Sagar Project gathered at the cremation of Narasaiah a farmer, who tried to commit suicide a couple of days back expired while undergoing treatment on Thursday.Postmortem was conducted and body was handed over to the relatives of bereaved family in the night at 10 PM.Many people gathered from villages of Erravelli, Singaram, Vemulaghat and surrounding places.Former Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, DCC President V Sunita Reddy condoled wife of Narasiah and daughter.
Former Deputy CM stated that his fight continues till Mallanna project is stopped and assured that he will be behind the protesters till the end.Experts also say that project cannot be constructed on the canal.Rajanarasimha stated that Government is ignoring this suggestions.CPM District secretary Rajaiah also supported Rajanarasimha.
Mallanna Sagar Porata Samithi convenor Bhaskar requested Government to rethink on this project and do justice to people.Villagers are gearing up for ‘Chalo Hyderabad’ at Indira Park in Hyderabad on 26th of July 2016.
