YSRCP Govt Looted Rs 3.29 Lakh Cr in 4 years : TDP MLA

Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary has accused the YSRCP government of mishandling a staggering Rs 3.29 lakh crore over the past four and a half years of its rule.

Addressing the media in Rajamahendravaram, he announced that if the Telugu Desam government comes to power in 2024, they will conduct a thorough investigation into all alleged wrongdoings.

"We will hold YSRCP accountable and ensure that all the misappropriated funds are returned," Butchaiah Chowdary stated.He emphasized that the central government had allocated Rs 1.10 lakh crore for various projects.He argued that there is no clear record of Rs 8,600 crore meant for panchayat development, Rs 32,000 crore designated for NREGS employment scheme, Rs 42,000 crore for Jal Jeevan Mission, and an annual Rs 6,000 crore from liquor revenue.

The MLA alleged that YSRCP had engaged in fraudulent practices, issuing counterfeit way bills for sand and allegedly siphoning off Rs 25,000 crore.He also pointed out that YSRC had pledged to provide Rs 3,000 to each pensioner, a promise yet to be fulfilled.

Regarding land-related issues, Butchaiah Chowdary claimed that former minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, a YSRCP MLA, openly admitted to large-scale land encroachments in Visakhapatnam, which was being considered for capital status.He highlighted that YSRC leaders bought land in Vizag at Rs 10 lakh per acre, only for the YSRCP government to later acquire it from them for Rs 50 lakh.

He criticized the Jagan Mohan Reddy administration for adopting the Arogya Suraksha healthcare scheme of the central government, presenting it as their own initiative.
