YSR Telangana party chief YS Sharmila initiated a hunger strike today in support of the unemployed youth in the state.She initiated the hunger strike in Thatiparthy constituency of joint Mahabubnagar district, Telangana.
Sharmila, who reached Tadiparthi today, visited the Kondal family, who committed suicide as the state government is not releasing job notifications in Telangana, initiated a hunger strike.The initiation started at 8 in the morning and lasts until 6 pm.
YS Sharmila decided to initiate a one-day hunger strike every Tuesday at the house of every unemployed person who committed suicide in the state until the government releases job notifications to fill the vacant government jobs in Telangana.Sharmila’s hunger strike will continue from 8 am to 6 pm at the house of the deceased unemployed youngster in the Thatiparthy constituency.
Against this backdrop, party ad hoc committee member Konda Raghavareddy called on a large number of unemployed, YSR Telangana party leaders, students, youth and activists across the state to attend and support Sharmila’s initiation every Tuesday.According to the PRC report, about 2 lakh jobs are yet to be filled in Telangana.
