TRS leaders have not been able to agree on the failure of Dubbaka by-elections, though Raghunandan Rao won with 63,352 votes.

Even after KTR and Harish Rao admitted the defeat, most of the TRS leaders say the failure is due to a misunderstanding of party symbol.

According to their new argument, TRS voters confused over the election symbol, Chapathi roller of an independent candidate.

They say the design of the symbol is close to TRS symbol, car. Many TRS voters by-mistake have voted for the independent candidate assuming Chapati Roller as TRS-Car.

The independent candidate Bandaru Nagaraju has secured 3570 votes through the Chapathi roller symbol.A few TRS leaders are saying that these votes as their votes as all other independent candidates got single-digit votes.

Reportedly, Nagaraju has got 3510 votes through EVM, and 60 through postal votes.

As Raghunandan Rao got the majority of just 1118 votes, TRS local leaders say the votes of Nagaraju actually belong to TRS, and the scenario would have changed if those votes had shifted to TRS symbol.

For this reason, TRS leaders say the defeat is due to technical reasons.
