Lucknow, Jan 1, : .While no one is sure of the truth, confusion about letter ‘P” has led to a new slinging match between Bharatiya Janata Party in Bharatiya (BJP) as well as the Samajwadi Party(SP) from Uttar Pradesh.
This fight will be a preparation for the upcoming Assembly Elections.Top sources claim that the Jains Piyush and Pushpraj, who were at the heart of the political storms, have the same surname, occupation, and even their Kannauj home.
This is what apparently caused confusion, and led tax officials to Piyush jain’s home last week.The’mistake’ led to one the largest seizures of money, gold, and silver in country history, with bags full of sandalwood, cash and even more.
Piyush Jain, the perfumer behind the ‘Samajwadi Itr” fragrance in November was announced by the BJP.They also insist on their links to the SP.
The cash poured out of Piyush Jain’s home, and the BJP laughed as SP was questioned about his role in the stash.
After two days of waiting, Akhilesh clarified that the ‘P Jain’ who was part of his party wasn’t him.Piyush was the one who was pictured, while Pushpraj was also called Pampi.
Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi was already referring to Piyush Jain’s black money.
Akhilesh, however, linked it to demonetization failures and said that Piyush jain is actually a BJP supporter.
On Friday, the tax authorities, apparently seeking to correct their course, raided Pushpraj Jain’s offices and houses.
Akhilesh claimed that the BJP was looking for a target, and it ended up raiding offices and homes of its supporter.
The SP President stated that Pushpraj Jain’s raid on Friday was part of a central agency’s ‘election duty.
These raids took place in Mumbai, Delhi, and Gujarat.
Although the IT department is yet to share any additional details, people who are familiar with the developments say that raids were initiated after investigators received details from Goods and Services Tax about income tax evasion by perfume businesses entities and other individuals allegedly using bogus input credit.
Akhilesh claimed that “Eversince the BJP feared defeat,” leaders began to come from Delhi with their allies — Enforcement Directorate, Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI, and Income Tax (IT).They (BJP) teamed up with smaller parties, and we (BJP) partnered with the investigating agencies such as CBI and ED.
Pampi Jain was also raided while Akhilesh was visiting Kannauj for a press conference.
Nirmala Sitharaman, the Union Finance Minister, has rejected these allegations.
She said, “The one caught red-handed must have been his friend or partner that’s why we are shaken by the former Chief Minister.”
Sitharaman rebutted the SP Chief by stating that the money taken from Piyush Jain’s home was not “BJP cash” and that the raid took place at the right address.The raids were supported by actionable intelligence, and they resulted in the successful completion of the operation.
