The Telangana state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Kalwakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, is scheduled to meet today at Pragathi Bhavan.The state cabinet is likely to discuss the strategy for the upcoming Huzurabad by-polls.

In the last month, two cabinet meetings were held in the wake of the Huzurabad by-polls and heavy rainfall in Telangana.Telangana received heavy rains this year.Officials declared many areas in Telangana as red zones due to the floods.Also, the state government deployed NDRF for rescue operations in the affected areas.
In today’s cabinet meeting, CM KCR is likely to discuss the Dalit Bandhu scheme, insurance for handloom workers similar to the insurance for farmers.
The state cabinet will also review the development in the Huzurabad constituency.In the cabinet meeting, the ministers will discuss the rains, agriculture and irrigation in the state.
Then, the state cabinet will discuss the precautions to be taken to curb the spread of the coronavirus in Telangana.
In the cabinet meeting, the ministers will discuss Dalit insurance and insurance for handloom workers.
The state cabinet will also come up with a proposal to replace 50,000 jobs across Telangana.Discussions will be held on the completion of pending irrigation projects.
