Actress Tabu recently shared a photo on Instagram from when she was trying out her look for the movie ‘Haider’.She posted a picture where she looked intense and was dressed in her character’s clothes.Tabu captioned the photo as “Look test, Haider.2013 @vishalrbhardwaj,” taking her followers back to those days.
The film ‘Haider’, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is based on Shakespeare’s play ‘Hamlet’.It’s about a young man who comes back to Kashmir after finding out his father is missing.He discovers that his father has been arrested for helping militants and that his mother is in a relationship with his uncle.The tension rises between mother and son as they deal with the news of their father’s death.
When Haider, played by Shahid Kapoor, learns that his uncle is responsible for the murder, he sets out to take revenge.
Tabu played the role of Ghazala, Haider’s stepmother, who is torn between her husband and her opportunistic brother-in-law.The movie was released in theaters on October 2, 2014.
