Supreme Court passes judgement on Manikonda Jagir lands!

The Telangana government got a huge seat in the Supreme Court.The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of the Telangana government in the Hyderabad Manikonda Jagir land case.

The Supreme Court has clarified that 1654 acres belong to the Government of Telangana.With this, the government got lands worth thousands of crores.

The Jagir land case has been pending in the Supreme Court since 2016.With the latest judgment of the Supreme Court, the government has got all the rights over 1654 acres.

The land dispute between the government and the waqf board has been going on for many years.The Waqf Board court ruled that Hazrat Hussain Shah Vali owned 1654 acres of 32 pits belonging to a dargah.

There have been several arguments between the waqf board and the state government in the AP High Court in this regard.However, on April 3, 2012, the High Court ruled in favor of the Waqf Board.

The Telangana government has approached the Supreme Court challenging the High Court judgment.The Supreme Court has set aside the judgment of the High Court in the past in the matter of these lands.

Reversing the High Court judgment, the bench of Justices Hemant Gupta and Ramasubramanian passed a 156-page judgment saying that all rights over the entire land belong to the Telangana government.The ruling marks a turning point in a long-running dispute between the government and the Waqf Board over the years.
