Suhana Khan, the daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, recently shared her thoughts about her upcoming debut film “The Archies” and her views on relationships.

In the movie, Suhana takes on the role of Veronica Lodge from the well-known Archies Comics, in a Netflix series directed by Zoya Akhtar.

In an interview with Vogue India, Suhana was asked how Veronica would react if she caught her boyfriend flirting with other girls online.In response, Suhana, adopting Veronica’s confident character, said, “Veronica already has a bunch of boys pursuing her.She’d be texting other boys herself.”

However, Suhana made it clear that her own approach to relationships differs from Veronica’s carefree attitude.She honestly said, “I would break up with him because I prefer a man who is committed to one woman.” This statement reflects Suhana’s belief in loyalty and dedication.

The cast of “The Archies” also includes Agastya Nanda, the grandson of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, and Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of the late Sridevi.Agastya plays the role of Archie Andrews, while Khushi portrays Betty Cooper.

The casting process for the film was meticulous, with director Zoya Akhtar emphasizing the essence of the characters during auditions.Zoya, who is also a writer for the film alongside Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre, stressed the importance of finding actors who truly embody the roles.

Interestingly, two cast members were discovered through Instagram and YouTube, adding a digital casting element to the project.

Produced by Netflix India, Zoya and Reema’s Tiger Baby, Archie Comics, and Graphic India, “The Archies” is set to premiere on December 7.Fans are excited to see Suhana Khan’s debut performance and the fresh take on the beloved comic book characters in the digital format.
