San Francisco, Aug 16 : Snap has announced that its premium service Snapchat+ has reached 1 million users.The platform has started rolling out new features that will enable users to customize their experience. The company stated that as part of the users’ subscription they now have access to additional features that are exclusive to subscribers.
“It is just six weeks since Snapchat started Snapchat+ and we are happy to announce that there are more than 1 million paying users.”
The new “Priority Story Replies” feature will allow Snapchatand responses to be seen by Snap Stars.They can also choose an emoji they would like the rest of their followers to see when viewing Snaps.
Users can make their Bitmoji background a new look with special backgrounds such as sparkling gold and a tropical paradise.You can also alter their homescreen Snapchat icon with new designs.
Snapchat+, a collection of exclusive, pre-release and experimental features that are available on the platform is priced at $3.99 per month.
It is in stock in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, India, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Israel, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Norway, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, Belgium, Finland, and Austria.
The platform has also created an in-app tool that lets parents to monitor whom their children are communicating with without letting parents see the contents of chats in private.
