Amid the pandemic, many of the biggies like ‘Coolie No 1’, ‘Laxmii’, ‘Durgavati’, ‘Ludo’ took the digital route and got released on different OTT platforms.But one superstar who was adamant on a theatrical release is none other than Salman Khan.
His upcoming action entertainer, ‘Radhe -Your Most Wanted Bhai’, is one of the most eagerly awaited movies which will be hitting screens next year only in theatres.
Now the interesting update is that Salman Khan has signed a massive deal for the film’s release.It is being said that Salman has sold the entire rights including satellite, theatrical (India + Overseas), digital, and music rights of ‘Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai’ to Zee Studios for a whopping Rs.230 crores.This is the biggest ever deal for any Indian film after the attack of the coronavirus pandemic.
The film was earlier planned to release in collaboration with Yash Raj Films on a commission basis.But the superstar decided to sign a fixed deal with Zee that ensures no losses on his end.It’s a reasonable deal that has led to a table profit for Salman whereas Zee, too, doesn’t have much risk involved given that Salman’s films command a great return value in terms of digital and satellite viewing along with the music streaming on various platforms.
Prabhudeva is directing this film and the shooting has been completed recently.Salman has promised his fans to deliver this film as an Eid Dhamaka in 2021.
The film stars Disha Patani as the female lead while Randeep Hooda will be seen as the main antagonist.It also has Jackie Shroff, Zarina Wahab, Bharath Srinivasan, Megha Akash, and Narra Srinu in crucial roles.Keep watching this space for more updates!
