121 cases were registered against 148 farmers.Excise enforcement officials conducted inspections in several districts of the state on the orders of CM KCR.Farmers from Narayankhed, Mahabubabad, Zaheerabad, Warangal, Bhupalpally, Adilabad and Asifabad were found to be cultivating cannabis.Cases have been registered against them.

The excise department said in a letter that the Rythu Bandhu, which was to be given in June, will not be given to these farmers.

Details of cannabis farmers in Nalgonda and Suryapet were also collected.

The Excise Department has sent Aadhaar cards and land documents of 148 farmers to the collectors.It is known that the Telangana state government is pushing hard on cannabis cultivation.

It was decided to take strict measures to curb cannabis cultivation, identify the details of the farmers who are cultivating it and stop the Rythu Bandhu provided by the government.The scheme has national recognition.

However, the government has noticed that some farmers are cultivating cannabis instead of agriculture.Authorities have been directed to focus on such farmers.
