Russian bombardment in Ukraine’s Kharkiv killed 6 people.

Kiev 18 Aug : At at least six people have been killed as well as 16 more wounded by Russian shelling in Kharkiv, in the east of Ukrainian city of Kharkiv according to local sources.
A tall building was hit in the shelling that occurred late Wednesday night, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov told Telegram.

Local media reported that a cruise missile hit the building, and it later caught fire, according to DPA news agency.

Governor of the region Oleh Syniehubov said that other areas in the city also were affected with shells, and added that the attack was “pretty chaotic”.

President Volodymyr Zelensky described the shelling as the attack a “vile and cynical attack against civilians, for which there is no reason to justify it”.

Kharkiv the second largest city, was heavily bombarded by Russian artillery just a few hours earlier.
