He also would highlight the claim that his government has fulfilled all the promises that the YSRC had made in its 2019 election manifesto.

Stated the CM in a tweet, “The promises have been fulfilled.By the grace of God, with the blessings of your beautiful daughter, our government came to power four years ago.Considering the responsibility given by you as an opportunity to serve you, we have implemented the promises given during the elections, one by one, in the course of our governance. We are taking steps to win 175 out of 175 seats in the upcoming elections to get a chance to serve you again.”

The YSRC won the 2019 elections with more than 50 per cent votes and winning 151 assembly and 22 Lok Sabha seats. It was cited as a grand victory.

After assuming charge as CM on 30 May 2019, Jagan Reddy started implementation of welfare schemes targeting the disadvantaged sections of the population.

To his credit, he zealously continued the welfare push even during the critical Covid-19 crisis. In the past four years, he also created a record by implementing 98.5 per cent of the promises his party had made in the party manifesto for the 2019 polls.

During his term that would continue till May next, Jagan Reddy gave utmost priority to the flagship Navaratnalu (nine-point welfare plan). After its successful implementation, the CM started developmental activities including wooing of investment and promoting industrial development.

Ministers Buggana Rajendranath, Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh said AP is on the forefront in rapid development.“AP tops in the Ease of Doing ranking for the past three years,” they noted.

CM Jagan succeeded in getting Rs 13.5 lakh crore investments through the Global Investment Summit, that could help create 6 lakh new jobs and register a fourfold increase in industrial growth to 12.8 per cent from the earlier 3.2 per cent in 2018-19, they claimed.

“The government is providing education to all, empowering women, developing all sectors through social engineering concepts with the slogan of social justice and Navaratnalu and changed AP’s ambience. These segments of the people have turned into growth and change engines of Andhra.”

They added that the YSRC is heading into the 2024 election battle, a Kuruskshetra fight, with the weapons of Welfare and Development to win the support of the public.“We would ensure a clean sweep,” they have asserted.

The YSRC ministers claimed that the people of all segments have been benefited through the welfare schemes based on merit and without discrimination.“Even the grave Corona crisis did not affect any scheme.Nowhere else in the country has there been a record of depositing as high as 2.10 lakh crore into the accounts of beneficiaries in the form of DBT (Direct Cash Transfer) through welfare schemes in 47 months.”

They also claimed that the Nadu-Nedu scheme made public schools better than corporate ones and it introduced English as a medium of instruction.Further, Nadu-Nedu helped government hospitals to modernize day by day and a medical college is being established for each district.

“A big revolution in government administration is the setting up of Village and Ward Secretariats and bringing government services to the doorsteps of the people. Also, districts were reorganized, under which 26 districts were formed and the administration decentralized.”

The YSRC leaders recalled that CM Jagan started the first day of his government by putting his first signature on the welfare pension file – for increasing the pension of elderly people from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,250.This rose by now to Rs 2,750 and it would be hiked to Rs 3,000 from January 2024.

With the help of thousands of volunteers at the Village ward secretariats set up across the state, the Jagan-led government’s schemes were successfully rolled out in a phased and transparent manner, it is widely noted.
