New Delhi, December 30, : , The Express Tribune reports that the Pakistan Ministry of Religious Affairs created a Hindu Temple Management Committee.The report stated that Federal Minister Pir Noorul Haq, the minister of religious affairs, expressed his hope at Wednesday’s meeting of the Committee.
He said that the Committee could act as an intermediary between non-Muslims and the state.
Sources claim that the Committee will deal with matters related to Hindu worship sites.
The Religious Affairs Minister stated that problems facing the non-Muslim population in Pakistan were being addressed on a priority level.
According to The Express Tribune, Haq stated that the formation of this committee would be beneficial in solving the problems of the Pakistani Hindu community.
They want harmony between people from different cultures of the region.”
He said that evil elements are trying to incite chaos and discord in Pakistan based on religion, sect, or linguistics.
