New Delhi, Aug 24 : Global technology company OPPO India on Wednesday joined with with the Kesari Devi Charitable Trust in India to assist them in providing an education of the highest quality to children in need.The idea stems from the idea that children from the disadvantaged Kosara region because of their financial limitations, do not have access to the latest education tools and digital infrastructure in their villages.
“As an empowering and socially responsible business, OPPO has always been dedicated to empowering children through education.Children are the most valuable asset of our nation and we are well aware of the difficulties that children face in getting a high-quality education in rural areas, Vivek Vasishtha Vice-President, Public Affairs, OPPO India, said in an announcement.
“Our conviction in equality of access to learning opportunities has led us to join forces with the Kesari Devi Charitable Trust, an organization that works to empower marginalized segments of society.Through this program we hope to assist Roundtable Abhinav Vidyalaya to improve its infrastructure and ensure that the best education is available to allstudents,” Vasishtha added.
Through this program, OPPO aims to bridge the gap in the opportunities for learning for certain sections of society.Through providing access to technology to kids, OPPO is encouraging the next generation of India to become self-sufficient.
Many children’s the proximity to schools in rural regions, insufficient quality of education and the inaccessibility of digital infrastructure are the biggest obstacles in accessing the basics of education.The business’s partnership with Kesari Devi Charitable Trust will address these issues at the grassroots level.
“We at OPPO were in awe of the dream of the Banaras Hindu University professors who founded the organization and are doing admirable work to help children who do not have access to a high-quality modern schooling due to their social or financial situation,” the company said.
The Round Table Abhinav Vidyalaya in Kosara, Varanasi, is an Kesari Devi Charitable Trust initiative catering to children in pre-nursery and up to class VIII.
As component of the alliance, OPPO has established a computer lab and donated OPPO Pad tablets to assist teachers in the school.
Additionally, OPPO is presenting a school bus that will connect the school with students from far-off areas, making their journey easy and affordable education.
OPPO has also committed to help pay for the school’s operational costs through contributions to the endowment fund.
This initiative is designed to provide children with more opportunities to learn and inspire them to create an improved future.

“We are confident that this alliance will help make education more accessible to children who are disadvantaged and the having access to technology will enable them to excel in the world of competition,” Tripathi added.
This collaboration is part of the legacy of OPPO of helping India by launching various projects.
OPPO has partnered with UNDP to start environmental projects and assisted India during the Covid-19 pandemic through donations of oxygen concentrators, breathing devices as well as OPPO bands.
