D.K.Aruna, BJP’s national vice-president and prominent leader in Telangana, categorically denied any intentions of rejoining the Congress party on Thursday.
She emphasized that there is absolutely no contemplation of shifting loyalties towards the Congress party.
Aruna expressed her conviction that the Congress is engaged in strategic maneuvers.
Aruna pointed out that her recognition as the national vice-president of the BJP by the party’s leadership underscores their trust in her.She considers it a great privilege to work under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Responding to recent reports suggesting a potential return to the Congress, Aruna clarified her unwavering commitment to the BJP.This comes in the wake of former MLA and BJP national executive member, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy, announcing his departure from the party to join the Congress.
Raj Gopal Reddy, who had switched from the Congress to the BJP last year, recently resigned from both the BJP and his Assembly membership.
He contested and narrowly lost in the Munugode constituency by-election on a BJP ticket.
While some notable leaders from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and BJP have joined the Congress in recent months, Aruna remains steadfast in her allegiance to the BJP.
Aruna’s transition from the Congress to the BJP just before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections is a well-documented move.Despite her defeat in Mahabubnagar to Manne Srinivas Reddy of TRS (now BRS), she has continued to be an integral part of the BJP’s national leadership.
Additionally, former BJP MP G.Vivek Venkatswamy dismissed speculations about leaving the BJP for the Congress.He affirmed his commitment to the BJP and expressed his intention to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections next year.
While Vivek has changed affiliations in the past, he now stands resolute in his dedication to the BJP
