Muslim Reservation Quota will be withdrawn if BJP voted to power : Kishan Reddy

Telangana BJP chief, G Kishan Reddy, recently articulated the partys stance on reservations, emphasizing a potential shift if the BJP assumes power in the state.

Reddy stated that in the event of a BJP government in Telangana, reservations for Muslims would be reconsidered.

Additionally, he pledged to augment quotas for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes.The party is set to bolster its campaign starting November 3, featuring rallies led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party chief J P Nadda, and key union ministers including Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and Nitin Gadkari.

Addressing a gathering at the party office, Reddy highlighted the BJPs groundbreaking announcement to select a Backward Class candidate for the chief ministerial role in Telangana, should the party secure power.He deemed this decision a milestone and a social transformation.

During a recent election rally in Telangana, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had affirmed that if the BJP assumes power in the state, a leader from the Backward Class would be chosen as the chief minister.Reddy underscored Prime Minister Modis humble background and how his leadership has resonated across diverse segments of society.

He contrasted this with an allegation against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, accusing him of reneging on a promise to appoint a Dalit leader as the CM of Telangana.In response to criticisms from the BRS and its leaders, Reddy contended that they lacked the moral authority to pass judgment on the BJPs policies.
