Bullet train services between the two cities will resume soon.The National High-Speed ​​Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has proposed to launch a bullet train between Mumbai and Hyderabad.

A pre-bid meeting on the project will be held on November 5.Achal Kher, managing director of the NHSRCL, said in a statement.

Tenders are likely to be accepted on November 18.Tenders have been called for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR).If the project becomes available, the train from Hyderabad to Mumbai can be reached within three and a half hours by saving 9.5 hours.

Currently, the Hussain Sagar Express is running between the two cities.The train takes 14 hours to reach Mumbai.This bullet train project will be built on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis at a cost of about Rs 1 lakh crore.

Initially, the Mumbai-Hyderabad bullet train project is expected to be built over Zaheerabad in Telangana.

But, the bullet train is to be built over Vikarabad to reduce the cost of the project.The details on the completion of the project will be announced once the DPR is ready.
