Commuters near Begumpet irked over the long wait owing to CM KCR’s convoy travel on the same route.
Amid excessive rainfall in the city, Hyderabad commuters are undergoing many hardships.
Several people have been struggling to reach the home due to water-logging on the roads.Accordingly, Begumpet commuters experienced high distress on Sunday when Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao and his convoy travelling to Gajwel farmhouse which is 100 km away from Pragathi Bhavan.
When the people were submerged in the rain, the commuters made to wait till KCR’s convoy had passed through the area, as per the protocol.
Taking it as an opportunity, Congress MLA Danasari Anasuya aka Seethakka asked the CM to reduce his trips to the farmhouse.
“CM KCR Garu it’s my request, don’t do up and down trips from 300 acres farmhouse to CM champ office you are creating traffic in this heavy rains for 60 kilometres, even they need to go home safe think once sir 🙏” (sic).
Hyderabad has recorded highest rains after 117 years.For three days, several parts of Hyderabad have submerged in water.Reportedly, fifty plus people died in the floods and crores of private properties have damaged in Telangana.
