The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday passed a sensational judgment seeking the development of Amravati as the state capital of Andhra Pradesh.A three-judge bench of the High Court heard petitions on the issue of capital.
The CRDA ordered the government to act in accordance with the law.Minister of State Botsa Satyanarayana responded to the High Court judgment.Speaking to Media in Vijayawada, he said the court verdict was not a shock to the government.He said the legislature and parliament would have the power to make laws in line with the spirit of the Constitution.
Botsa said they had already withdrawn the bills.The minister said the CRDA bill has been withdrawn and is already being implemented.
Responding to the court order to develop and hand over the capital lands within three months, the Minister said, “Will it be possible to develop and hand over the flats within three months?” Minister Botsa was incensed that TDP leaders felt that the TDP needed real estate business, rather than community development.Minister Botsa commented that TDP is a single capital policy but ours is a three capital policy.“We have three capitals in our political system and we are committed to it,” he said.Minister Botsa Satyanarayana clarified that there was no need to go for appeals on this.
