San Francisco, Sep 9 : Tech giant Microsoft has announced that it will be conducting new experiments to discover how to make an improved user experience on the home screen for Xbox users. The company claimed that it’s focused on making it faster and simpler for players to play games they enjoy and find their next game of choice.
“We are aware that the Xbox homepage is where players spend the majority of their time. And it’s an experience that is very personal to them.We also know that we must always be learning and listening to about ways to improve in this area, while also keeping your experience simple and familiar.” Ivy Krislov, Senior Product Manager Lead at Xbox in a blogpost.in an article on the blog.
The company announced that, starting this week, a select part of Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead ring will see layout design, style and accessibility of access changing as we play with different methods.
“In addition we are looking at possibilities for new games channels and collections as you scroll down, which include content that’s specially curated to suit your needs based on things like the games you’ve played or how to get the most of the value of your Game Pass subscription,” Krislov said.
The major change in the first cycle of previews is that the brand new “Jump back in” row provides users with easy access to their most recent games as well as apps.
Users can quickly access essential system applications like Settings Store, Settings, Search as well as My Games and Apps with their own tile in Xbox Home.
“We would like to ensure that this experience is as good as that it could be.we’re aware that the process will take time, which is why we’ll be releasing it slowly and re-inventing it throughout the entire process.” Krislov said.
“With your feedback, we’re eager to launch this new, improved home experience in 2023.
Please share your thoughts and remain patient as we continue to add, eliminate and alter features to enhance your Experience,” Krislov added.
